Kids Are Special Too! is a family owned-business specializing in manufacturing and selling specialty gift baskets, poetry books and toys for teenagers, kids and babies. We offer customized designed gift baskets for special occasions such as birthdays, holidays and celebrations.

BEGINNING OF KIDS ARE SPECIAL TOO!
Kids Are Special Too! started in 1996 when our six-year old daughter surprised us with gifts that she spent hours making in her room. We were surprised by these beautifully wrapped gifts on a daily basis. The gifts included handmade products from household items. They were just gorgeous little gifts. Of course, we were biased because most parents are proud of any gift made by their children. As her little brother grew, he observed his older sister creating these gifts for the family. Naturally, he was curious yet competitive and started to make a few gifts himself. Eventually, they began to make these gifts together.

Then, one evening at the dinner table our daughter said whe wanted to start a business with her little brother selling gifts, toys, and books. As practical parents, we explained the difficult process of developing and running a business. The response from our kids was, "Mom and Dad, we are willing if you are." Then, of course they asked, "Can we start tommorrow?"

After much negotiation and debate at the family dinner table, we decided to launch Kids Are Special Too! Of course, the children had one condition to be met. We as the "Parent Company" (literally) let them express and create their own ideas in the development of the products.
